It’s important to note that in most cases, short term health insurance policies do not cover pre-existing conditions. What qualifies as a pre-existing condition varies from one state to another, but short term health insurance plans do not provide coverage for those who have been diagnosed with or received treatment for a condition within the past two to five years.
